About Me

Meet Jessica Chan, BACP-Registered Therapist

I bring warmth, empathy, and care to my work with individuals from a range of backgrounds. My experience includes counselling adults through community-based services and supporting survivors of sexual trauma and domestic abuse in a charity setting. These experiences have deepened my respect for the courage it takes to seek support.

Having moved to the UK from Hong Kong as a teenager, I understand how cultural identity, family expectations, and adjustment to a new environment can shape one’s emotional world. These lived experiences inform how I hold space for others—gently, attentively, and without judgement.

I offer a calm and trauma-informed environment where we can work together at your pace. My practice is grounded in a humanistic, integrative approach that blends elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy. I also draw on creative and body-based practices when helpful. My work is guided by the belief that therapy can support greater clarity, resilience, and a deeper connection to yourself.

Rather than offering solutions or fixes, I see my role as walking alongside you—supporting your inner exploration with respect and curiosity. I hold a deep trust in each person’s capacity for growth, and I aim to offer a therapeutic space that feels safe, collaborative, and responsive to your individual needs.
